Billboard:

Adele’s “21” album not only returns to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (up two spots), but also becomes the first to sell more than a million copies this year.
 
With 88,000 sold this past week (down 6%) according to Nielsen SoundScan, “21’s” total rises to 1.03 million. The year’s second-biggest selling album remains Mumford & Sons’ “Sigh No More,” which has shifted 645,000.

AS SHE SHOULD BE! I can’t say enough amazing things about this woman. She’s the same age as me which is crazy because she sings and writes with a soul that has been around for much longer. The fact the in the midst of people like ‘Kesha’ that arguably the biggest artist in the world at this very moment is Adele! Not taking anything away from pop/dance music cos I love me some David Guetta and Max Martin.

I just love to know that music like Adele’s still rings true with people and has the ability to be the most popular in the world. Not always does quality match with popularity. Respect. Booyakasha.

There are very few albums I can listen to from start to finish, and genuinely love every minute of it.  Her voice will probably go down as the voice of our generation.  I think what I love about the album so much is it’s passion.  I agree with Kevin, although I love pop/dance music, its refreshing to hear someone do what she does, especially someone so young!
