#2 Elton John & Leon Russell-The Union 

This is the first single off Elton John and Leon Russell’s new album The Union. Academy Award winner T-Bone Burnett produced the album, and the three collaborated with Elton’s long time writing partner Bernie Taupin.  The Album is incredible, some of the best piano playing ever!  

This is one of my favorite records off the album, along with “Monkey Suit”, “Hey Ahab”, and “Eight Hundred Dollar Shoes”!  It will probably be nominated for album of the year at The Grammy’s, (along with Adele’s 21, and Kanye’s My Dark and Twisted Fantasy.)    + I hadn’t heard this until you posted it. that song is really dope, but the video makes me not like it. why even make that video!? it’s so dated in a bad way. song is cool though, just without that visual. word. -Kev
