BOOK OF MORMON & ADELE:
So, I FINALLY saw BOM this past weekend. Embarrassingly, it was my 1st broadway show. I have, like everyone else, had heard amazing things about it and luckily was not disappointed. As a massive South Park fan, it’s incredible to me that this has been such a hit for Parker & Stone. They’re brilliant, and its so refreshing to see just pure honesty, no matter how offensive to some it may be, on that stage. They’re always so good about making people laugh and still sending out a real message. it’s brilliant. All of the actors are BRILLIANT. I know I’m about 8 years late to the party, but i’m just happy I got to see it!
On another note, how do you do a show 8 times a week for that long?! So much respect to everyone in theater who can do that. It petrifies me, maybe someday I’ll get over myself and try it. Now, I’ll just sit and watch with an enormous amount of respect.

So Adele has another #1 single with “Set Fire to the Rain” SURPRISE!! I have to say that I still do get surprised every week when “21” is still #1 (this week it starts its 17th week at #1). I’m so happy that she continues to resonate with so many people. It still is as refreshing as when the album came out almost a year ago. & “Set Fire” is my favorite song from that album so I’ve been waiting for this! I love when people break records and Adele is close to catching Whitney Houston’s “The Bodyguard” soundtrack which was #1 for 20 weeks. C’maaaaaan ADELE!

Rihanna is #1 for the 10th week in a row! ”We Found Love” is Rihanna’s 11th #1! Personally, I think this is my favorite Rihanna record, with S.O.S. being second.
Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” Jumped 2 spots to #2! Giving Adele her a 3rd top 10 single from “21” ***She still sits atop everyone at #1 on the Billboard 200 (Album Chart).
Flo Rida comes in at #3 with Good Feeling.
At #4 is Bruno Mars with “It Will Rain” from the Twilight Soundtrack. While dropping 1 spot, this song still remains my favorite record on the chart this week.
Dropping from #2 to #5 is LMFAO’s “Sexy And I Know It.”
Katy Perry’s sixth single “The One That Got Away” stays at #6. It Peaked at #3 failing to give her a sixth #1… I don’t think she’s too upset with 5 #1 singles off of one album! I do love this record though. My favorite, next to Teenage Dream!
Ni**as In Paris stay’s at #7. It’s a shame this record peaked at # 2. In my opinion it was the coolest record of the year!
Tyga’s “Rack City” Jumps 15 spots from #23 to #8 giving him is first top 10 record! His closest appearance was on Chris Brown’s “Dueces” which peaked at #14
The Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars Party Anthem, enters the top ten jumping 2 spots to #9.
Rounding out the top 10 and jumping 15 spots is David Guetta Featuring Nicki Minaj with “Turn Me On.” It’s Not my favorite David Guetta nor Nicki Minaj record, but it proves people are still in love with the David Guetta sound!

We went to the Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil “The Immortal World Tour” during it’s stop in Las Vegas. Thought the show was good for a normal Cirque show, but the issue is, if you’re going to do Michael it has to exceed everything that has been done before. It did not.
The dancing performances, definitely underwhelmed. Although the typical cirque acrobats did not disappoint. I will say that the music was amazing. It was done by Kevin Antunes, who has been the music director for many tours (Nsync, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake).
All in all the show was entertaining, and I would recommend seeing it. Just know it’s not like seeing an actual Michael Jackson Show…
